Valletta, 6 October 2025 – A Maltese Parliamentary delegation led by Deputy Speaker David Agius, together with MPs Davina Sammut Hili and Graziella Attard Previ, left Malta to participate in the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference focusing on “The Commonwealth as a Global Partner”.
The conference brings together Parliamentarians from across the Commonwealth to discuss key global political and legislative issues. The Maltese delegation will also attend the 41st Small Branches Conference and various workshops held between 5th and 12th October.
Deputy Speaker Agius will address participants on Human Rights and the Legacy of Colonial Laws, while MP Davina Sammut Hili will speak on Work-Life Balance and Mental Health, and MP Graziella Attard Previ will discuss Free Speech and Prevention of Abuse.
The event concludes with the General Assembly, which will feature debates and votes on several administrative and global issues.
