Secretary of State Antony Blinken hinted yesterday that the Biden administration may consider allowing Ukrainian military strikes inside Russia utilizing American-made weaponry. Blinken stated that the U.S., previously opposed to such actions, would reconsider its position based on the evolving situation on the ground.
Several European leaders, including NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and French President Emmanuel Macron, have urged President Biden to lift restrictions on Ukraine.
Blinken made these comments during his visit to Chisinau, Moldova's capital, as part of a tour demonstrating U.S. solidarity with countries facing Russian aggression.
Meanwhile, in the U.S., a Texas-based facility nearing completion will soon produce 30,000 artillery shells monthly for 155-millimeter howitzers, significantly boosting support for Kyiv's military efforts.
