China is leading the charge in the development and testing of driverless cars, with the government playing a key role in this initiative. The country has established extensive testing areas on public roads and is actively managing online discourse about safety incidents and crashes to mitigate public fears.

He reported that the ride featured smooth acceleration and braking, though turns were slightly jerkier compared to those made by human drivers. You can watch a video of Keith’s ride in Wuhan.
