Worker Dies from Electric Shock While Assembling Scaffolding

A 31-year-old man from Qormi tragically passed away on Thursday after receiving an electric shock while assembling scaffolding in St Julian's. The incident occurred at 11:30am on Manuel Dimech Street. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the Somali resident succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. Authorities have initiated a magisterial inquiry, and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority is conducting an investigation into the accident.
