Strengthening Malta-Serbia Relations: Meeting Between Serbian Ambassador and Maltese Deputy Speaker

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Mirjana Jeremić had a meeting with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta David Agius. The discussions focused on strengthening the bilateral relations between Malta and Serbia, with particular emphasis on regional issues, educational and cultural exchanges, and trade opportunities.


Ambassador Mirjana Jeremić and Deputy Speaker David Agius reviewed the current state of relations between their two countries, highlighting the long-standing friendship and cooperation. Both sides expressed their commitment to further enhancing diplomatic ties and exploring new areas of mutual interest, including the Serbian application to join the European Union.


The meeting also covered various regional issues, with both representatives exchanging views on the political and economic stability of the Balkan region and the Mediterranean. They discussed the importance of collaboration in addressing common challenges and promoting peace and stability in their respective regions.


The Ambassador and the Deputy Speaker emphasised the significance of educational and cultural exchanges in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
