Local Charter Vessel Incident Involving Foreign Divers

Earlier this morning, a local charter vessel requested the assistance for two foreign divers who found themselves in difficulty when diving. The Armed Forces of Malta immediately dispatched the MELITA 1 Search and Rescue vessel and rescued the divers. They were brought to Haywharf Base and handed over to medical staff for further attention.
