Israeli Man Critically Wounded in Hezbollah Drone Strike

An Israeli man was critically injured in a drone strike by Hezbollah in northern Israel. The drone targeted an Israeli artillery command and control base near Kibbutz Kabri. This escalation follows the departure of an Israeli delegation, led by Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, to Cairo to continue negotiations for a hostage release and cease-fire deal with Hamas.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have released findings from their investigation into the October 7 attack on Kibbutz Be'eri, which resulted in 101 deaths and 32 kidnappings, with 11 individuals still held captive in Gaza. The report revealed the IDF's unpreparedness for the mass infiltration by Hamas.

In response to the war's ongoing dynamics, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has called for a state commission of inquiry to investigate the conditions that allowed Hamas to strengthen its position over the past decade.

The U.S. has imposed sanctions on three Israeli individuals and five entities accused of destabilizing the West Bank. This action underscores international concern over increasing tensions in the region.
