Paris Transformed for Olympics

Paris has fallen silent as it prepares for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Games tomorrow.

This historic ceremony, the first to be held outside a stadium, will take place on the Seine, featuring 12 scenes from French history alongside a parade of 10,000 athletes in boats.

Heightened security measures have significantly reduced tourist crowds, impacting local businesses. The city expects 11 million visitors, down from the earlier prediction of 15 million.
