The Paris Olympics are finally here. The opening ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. Paris time, featuring athletes floating in on boats along the Seine, dressed in their national costumes.
While some competitions have already begun, the Games will fully swing into action tomorrow with events in women’s swimming, men’s basketball, and tennis. Over 300 events will be held across Paris before the Olympics conclude on August 11.
“Gymnastics, swimming, and track remain the heartbeat of the Games,” said Andrew Das, our lead Olympics editor. “Good stories there will make any Olympics more memorable.”
