Netanyahu Signals Flexibility in Cease-Fire Talks with Hamas Amid Continuing Violence

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly expressed a willingness to compromise in cease-fire negotiations with Hamas during a phone call with U.S. President Joe Biden. This comes as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that gunfire indications were found on the bodies of six hostages recovered from Gaza earlier this week.

In related developments, the IDF's chief prosecutor charged five reservists with severely abusing a Hamas police officer at the Sde Teiman detention center. Meanwhile, the Israel Police arrested three adults and a minor suspected of carrying out "terrorist acts against Palestinians" in the West Bank.

These events unfolded as the war between Israel and Hamas entered its 321st day, with both sides facing mounting pressures and challenges.
