Russia Launches Deadly Pre-Dawn Strikes Across Ukraine

Russia unleashed a new wave of pre-dawn missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and several other major Ukrainian cities yesterday, marking the second day of an intensified bombing campaign as Moscow attempts to counter a Ukrainian offensive. Ukrainian authorities reported that at least six people were killed in the latest strikes.

During a forum in Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized his commitment to pursuing a diplomatic strategy aimed at initiating talks with Russia. He outlined the significant challenges Ukraine faces and reiterated his dual approach of diplomacy and military action to bring Russia to the negotiating table. Ukraine is also seeking security assurances from its allies, including a bid to join NATO.
