Israeli Raids in West Bank Leave at Least 10 Palestinians Dead

Hundreds of Israeli troops, supported by drones and armored vehicles, conducted significant raids in the West Bank, according to Israeli and Palestinian officials yesterday. The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that at least 10 Palestinians were killed during the operations. Israeli authorities described the raids as part of an ongoing effort to target militants, with the Israeli military claiming to have killed nine militants.

These operations follow months of intensified Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank, where nearly three million Palestinians live under Israeli military rule. Since the Hamas-led assault on Israel on October 7, over 600 Palestinians have been killed in the territory, according to the U.N., in violence involving both Israeli forces and extremist Jewish settlers.

In addition to its operations in Gaza and the West Bank, the Israeli military also reported striking a target it identified as a terrorist on the Syria-Lebanon border and attacking Hezbollah structures in southern Lebanon.
