Escalation Continues in West Bank and Gaza Amid Israeli Military Raids

Overnight, four Israelis were wounded in two car bomb attacks in the West Bank, with both assailants killed by Israeli forces. The Israeli army reported that the explosives used in these attacks originated from the same laboratory in Hebron. Six suspects were arrested in connection with the incidents. In a separate operation in Jenin, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) killed two Hamas-affiliated militants as their counterterrorism operations in the West Bank extended into a fourth day. The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza reported that Israeli strikes have resulted in at least 48 deaths.

The West Bank has seen increased violence, with at least 22 Palestinians killed since the IDF's latest operations began, including a man in his 80s shot by Israeli forces in Jenin. Meanwhile, tensions along Israel's northern border flared as around 40 rockets were fired from Lebanon into the Western Galilee on Friday, prompting Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.
