Russian Missile Strike in Poltava Claims Over 50 Lives

A Russian missile attack yesterday targeted a military academy and a nearby hospital in Poltava, a city roughly 100 miles from the Russian border, resulting in the deaths of more than 50 people and leaving around 200 others injured. This strike, which highlights Moscow’s significant firepower, is part of an ongoing series of deadly assaults by Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the attack involved ballistic missiles, capable of traveling at supersonic speeds and reaching any location in Ukraine within minutes. As the missiles approached, residents scrambled for safety, many noting that air raid sirens went off only moments before the impact.
