Trump and Harris in a Tight Race as Election Day Nears

A new national poll by The Times and Siena College shows former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris running neck and neck in the final stretch of the presidential campaign. Trump holds a narrow lead over Harris, 48 percent to 47 percent, with their only scheduled debate set for tomorrow.

Despite Trump's legal troubles, his support remains remarkably strong, while Harris continues to face skepticism from voters who feel they need to know more about her. The poll comes on the heels of a judge’s decision to delay Trump's sentencing until after Election Day, leaving voters uncertain about whether Trump will face jail time as they head to the polls.
