Press Release by the Armed Forces of Malta: Rescue at Ta' Maria Caves

Yesterday, the Malta Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) received a 112 call reporting two individuals trapped in the Ta’ Maria Caves, Mgarr, due to rough sea conditions. The RCC swiftly coordinated a rescue operation, deploying Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) maritime assets, along with the Malta Police and Civil Protection Department (CPD) maritime units. Through joint efforts by AFM and CPD, the individuals were safely rescued, brought ashore, and transferred to Mater Dei Hospital for medical assistance.
