Preparations underway for New Year’s Eve celebrations in Valletta.
Minister for Culture, the Arts and Local Government Owen Bonnici, together with Jason Micallef, visited the final preparations for the national New Year’s Eve celebrations, set to take place in Valletta.
The celebrations will begin at 8:45pm and feature live music, entertainment and fireworks. The programme includes performances by leading Maltese artists and will culminate at midnight with a live concert by international artist John Newman, followed by a DJ set.
Public transport services will be extended for the event, with ferry and bus services operating later into the night. The celebrations are organised by G7 Events, with support from the Valletta Cultural Agency and the Malta Tourism Authority.
