Children’s Hospital Bombed in Ukraine Amid Missile Strikes

Moscow unleashed a barrage of missiles across Ukraine yesterday, devastating the country's largest children's hospital. In the immediate aftermath, hundreds rushed to the scene in a frantic effort to find survivors. Local officials reported that one doctor and another adult were killed, while at least 10 more people, including seven children, were injured. Ukraine’s emergency services agency confirmed that at least three children were rescued from the rubble.

Nationwide, the bombings claimed the lives of at least 38 people, including 27 in Kyiv, with more than 100 injured. The Ukrainian Air Force reported successfully intercepting 30 of the 38 missiles launched during the attack. In response to the escalating violence, the U.N. Security Council is scheduled to hold an emergency meeting today to address the strikes.

These latest attacks underscore the increasing frequency of deadly assaults by Russia on Ukrainian medical facilities, vehicles, and healthcare workers.
