Israeli Attack on Gaza School Leaves 15 Dead Amid Ongoing Conflict

An Israeli airstrike on an UNRWA school in Gaza's Nuseirat resulted in the deaths of 15 people and injured around 50, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed that terrorists were active in the school, with investigations ongoing regarding reports of civilian casualties. In a separate incident, the Hamas-run Health Ministry reported 17 fatalities and 26 injuries in Khan Yunis. Over the past day, Israeli strikes have killed 49 Palestinians, including 19 in central Gaza.

The IDF announced that it has killed half of Hamas' military leadership, with approximately 14,000 operatives either killed or wounded since the war's onset. The Hamas-controlled Health Ministry stated that the conflict has claimed 38,713 Palestinian lives and injured 89,166.

In the West Bank, three Israelis were lightly wounded in a shooting attack. Additionally, an Israeli Border Police officer was injured in a stabbing incident in El Bireh, with the attacker, a 19-year-old Palestinian, being shot dead. A Palestinian woman was also arrested in Hebron for attempting to attack Israeli forces.

In other developments, the Shin Bet security service plans to indict Elimelech Stern, a 21-year-old Israeli accused of working for Iranian intelligence. Meanwhile, protests by families of Israeli hostages in Gaza disrupted Tel Aviv's Ayalon Highway, demanding a meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
