Former President Donald Trump continued his attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris, once again labeling her as “mentally impaired” during a rally in Pennsylvania yesterday. His comments have drawn criticism from both parties, as well as disability advocacy groups. This follows an earlier rally in Wisconsin, where Trump suggested Harris had been “mentally disabled” since birth.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham urged Trump to focus on criticizing Harris’s policies rather than resorting to personal insults. Larry Hogan, a former Republican governor and outspoken critic of Trump, called the remarks “insulting,” not only to Harris but also to individuals with actual mental disabilities.
