Donald Trump maintained secret communications with Russian President Vladimir Putin on as many as seven occasions after leaving office, according to revelations in Bob Woodward’s latest book, "War." The book also claims that while still in office during the pandemic, Trump covertly sent Putin rare Covid-19 testing machines for personal use.
These disclosures raise fresh concerns about Trump’s relationship with the Russian leader, just weeks ahead of the U.S. election. Trump’s campaign has dismissed the claims made in the book.
