Biden and Harris Court Union Voters in Pennsylvania as Campaign Heats Up

President Joe Biden joined Vice President Kamala Harris on the campaign trail in Pittsburgh, marking his first appearance since stepping aside for her presidential bid. Speaking at a union event, Biden rallied the labor movement in support of Harris, stating, "I’ll be on the sidelines, but I’ll do everything I can to help."

Harris’s campaign intends to use Biden strategically, focusing his appearances in key swing states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, where he continues to resonate with white working-class voters and union members.

The Pittsburgh event capped off a Labor Day that saw Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, visiting the crucial blue wall states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. They aimed to galvanize union voters as the campaign enters its final two months.
