At least 20 people were killed and over 450 injured after walkie-talkies owned by Hezbollah members exploded across Lebanon in a series of deadly attacks yesterday. This marks the second such incident involving rigged devices in just two days, according to Lebanese and Hezbollah officials.
While the Israeli military has remained silent on the attacks, sources suggest the explosions are part of a years-long operation involving Israeli intelligence. As part of a front company, Israeli agents allegedly embedded explosive-laden batteries into pagers that were shipped to Lebanon starting in 2022, in what appears to be a modern-day Trojan horse operation.
Since the attacks began on Tuesday, at least 32 people have lost their lives, and around 3,000 others have been injured.
