An Israeli delegation, including Shin Bet Chief Ronen Bar and a special envoy selected by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is set to arrive in Cairo on Thursday to negotiate a possible cease-fire in Gaza. Egyptian officials have proposed a new truce agreement during ongoing talks with Hamas.
Amid the developments, the IDF shared its findings on six hostages whose bodies were recovered in Gaza, stating they were likely killed by their captors during a military operation in the area. Hamas has reportedly threatened to "neutralize" hostages if Israel attempts another rescue mission, similar to an operation in June. Meanwhile, criticism of Netanyahu’s handling of the hostages continues to mount.
