The Ombudsman, Judge Emeritus Joseph Zammit McKeon, has presented the Ombudsplan 2025 to Speaker of the House of Representatives Anġlu Farrugia, as required by Section 10(4) of the Ombudsman Act 1995 (Chapter 385 of the Laws of Malta).
As per the Act, the Ombudsman must submit the Ombudsplan to the House by September 15 each year, outlining the upcoming year's activities. The Ombudsplan 2025 will be tabled in Parliament following the summer recess and will then be discussed during a special sitting of the House Business Committee.
